Apparently, Walter Lantz was good friends with movie innovator George Pal.
Because of this, Woody Woodpecker makes a cameo appearance in every feature film
in which Pál was involved.
Now I don't recall Woody appearing in the Man of Bronze, but coincidentally, I
just discovered that Lantz' wife, Grace Stafford Lantz was Woody's voice for
part of his career and ALSO had a role in the Doc movie (she was the elderly
woman who is helped across the street by the Boy Scout near the end of the film).
Did the cartoon face of Woody Woodpecker also show up somewhere in the film?
