Come on, how many folks hang out up above the Arctice Circle? They
had to have known each other. And both of them obsessive tinkerers,
too.

Granted, Santa probably didn't go for DOC's phsyical training
outlook. Although DOC was never fussy about food, so milk and cookies
could have been fine with him.

I'm thinking.. mark down Santa as one of the great scientific thinkers
DOC studied under. The whole flying reindeer thing, the time-space
continuum problem, toy manufacturing concerns.

just be thinkful John Sunlight wandered into the Fortress of Solitude
instead of the North Pole.
