The "lost" DOC from 1979.
DOC spying in Moscow in 1947. Frankly, this wasn't as good as I
remembered it. Granted, way above the average for a post-war DOC, but
plot difficulties. DOC moves in between secret plans, layers within
layers or meticulous preparation for any contingency, to random
smack'em in the head action. The femme fatale much less than could
have been.
Unique in that it is really from the headlines -- DOC is after Stalin
and the Russkies, not merely the foreign sounding representatives of
an un-named country that we are to assume is Russia.
