Watching the Cheyenne marathon on Encore Westerns.

Yeah, I can see Clint as Doc.

Happy New Year everybody!

Hey, that's what we THOUGHT the words were,
first time we saw the movie in the theater . . .

Westerns rule. Happy new year.
As always, we started yesterday with westerns -- three episodes of THE
LONE RANGER. And I've got BRANDED waiting. got to trust westerns --
my last non-western DVD purchase -- ROUTE 66 - big mistake. How was
this ever popular?

It was more like route canal 66. Good theme by Nelson Riddle, though.
Branded I haven't seen since grade school but I remember liking it.

ROUTE 66 -- what was I thinking. The Corvette stole the show. The
DVd collection i got has a variety of scenary chewing guest stars -- a
very young Martin Sheen trying to be the next James Dean as a youth
gang leader. Like the modern-day in that he is able to do monologue
blaming society for making him what he is, but ancient enough to have
gang members wearing shrap sweater-vests -- like rumbing with Mister
Rogers. the only bright spot -- the commercials are embedded into
DVD, so you get a good look at what the new Chevies look like this
year.
