Just curious what the opinion of the group is on the new movie. I went
in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It felt like an
"Indy" movie, had it's ups and downs, unbelievable stretches and
humor. I give it a thumbs up.

Plus, was anyone else expecting to see old Dan Thunden pop up at the
end of the chase through the jungle? That was right out of Fear Cay!

I liked it, too. I thought it was a very fine sequel. Nice humor,
good action. They didn't try to hide the fact Indy is older. I hope
the franchise carries on with Shia (sp?) LaBeuf (sp?).

Mostly a miss.

Nowhere near enough Marion. Too much Mutt (tho he was better than I
expected).

"Raiders..." was the perfect "Oh wow!" movie for me. They kept Indy's
actions just close enough to reality to feel like yeah, someone with
enough grit and determination (and yeah, luck) could do everything he
did in the movie.

Instead of an "Oh wow!" movie this was an "oh, c'mon!" movie that lost
me and most of the audience I saw it with.at the conclusion of the
opening sequence (trying not to be too spoilery, here) and kept losing
it with other scenes later on.

Ah well...it was nice to see Indy again for a few moments.
