It's from Wikipedia, and article on a pigmentation issue called
'heterochromia', usually seen when someone has two different colored
eyes. (Truthful I've only seen the two eye color thing in dogs... but
I digress.)

I run across hazel/gold/unusually colored eyes from time to time but
most of the time I don't have a decent camera with me to snap a
picture.

My mom used to run a health food store here locally and she was into
iridology. She always told me that those rust colored flecks were
caused by some kind of an infection or something that the person had
in their colon and or stomach.
She would be the first to tell Dr. Savage that he needed a colon
cleanse.
