...it's times like this I wish I still had proper usenet/news server
access. I've been stuck with Google groups since moving to an area
with Time Warner internet service, too bad Google doesn't cover the
binaries...

Subscribe to Giganews. Very cheap, all the groups and at least 1 year
retention, some much more.
