Say, does anybody out there know what font was used for the titles of
the paperbacks? You know. Like, "THE MAN OF BRONZE" or "DEATH IN
SILVER". I've looked and can't find it.

All of them were hand-drawn.

Sorry, Kent. I'm not buying it. Have you looked at the fantasy
covers created by Keith Wilson. I can't believe that Wilson is hand-
drawing those titles. There has to be a font out there somewhere.

It's true. The titles were hand lettered back in the day. Keith has
stated he did in fact create a digital font and manipulates the curve
distortion in a program like Corel Draw or Illustrator.

Remember that the last of the Bantams with those fonts came out before Adobe
illustrator came out. So, to answer your question again, there was no font in
existence for the paperbacks.

If Keith Wilson spend the hours necessary to create the font (and I know how
much time that takes) I'll bet he doesn't want to be giving it away for free.

Mr. Wilson says:

"I have all the letter shapes made and compose the titles as
needed. I've also done the title treatments for the last few Bama
covers on the Sanctum Books reprints."

"I drew them as vector shapes in CorelDRAW. Then compose the title and
use the envelope tool to shape them properly."

"Even if I made a real font, which I don't plan to do any time soon, I'd
probably hog it all to myself."
