For those of you that live near a Half Price bookstore they have the
new Doc Savage books, published by Sanctum, for $5.98 each. I
don't know if every Half Price bookstore in the United States has
them, but the ones in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas do.

They only have the first 23 volumes and each store I went to did
not have every volume, but they had quite a few of them. I went
to three of them and ended up finding 17 of the 23 volumes.

I have been looking for them at local retail bookstores ever since
I heard they were being published (never could find any of them)
and was surprised to find them at Half Price bookstores. After
finding those, I have ordered the rest of them online.

I don't know if they do mail order, but you can contact them at

I better clarify that, I did not order the rest of them online from
Half Price Bookstores.

I got some of them (they only had the first 23 volumes) from
http://www.nostalgiatown.com/

I just ordered the rest of them (volumes 24 through 28) at
http://www.adventurehouse.com/

Cool -- I've read here and over on Alt.Pulp before about folks finding
copies of The Shadow and Doc Savage at Half Price Books -- can't wait
to stop by and see what's in stock. I'm in the middle of moving to
Kansas and lucky for me there are two stores in Kansas City, KS that
are probably 15-20 miles away and another down in Lawrence.

I hope you can find some of those books in Kansas and thanks for
mentioning alt.pulp as I was not aware of that newsgroup.
