Revisisted my first DOC again. What really jumped out at me.

1. Less in More. DOC is hardly in the first half of the book; maybe 2
and half of the first ten chapters, then he's there the whole second
half in full form.

2. The pig and the monkey. What an awful idea. You continually
have to make excuses for them being there. The bad guys have to go to
the trouble of catching them. They're just silly, and I bet i felt
the same way when I was13 and read it the first time.

Yes, they were like "The Wonder Twins" or "Wendy & Marvin" or "Bandit" or
whell whatever "comedy relief" or "youth identification" add-ons you care to
think of.

That said, while Chemistry was always horrible, Habeaus had a good moment
every now and then.
